Tour Overview

Hiroshima is world famous as the first city that suffered the atomic bomb. This tour is a private walking tour visiting the atomic bomb dome, hypocenter (ground zero), monuments in the peace park and the peace museum.

The atomic bomb dome is the original building that remains just as it was damaged by the atomic bombing in 1945.
You will walk in the peace park and stop at some famous monuments, including hypocenter (ground zero). Your tour guide explains episode and message of each monument, which otherwise you will just pass without knowing anything about them. Their messages are very powerful and will make your visit to the peace park more meaningful.

After visiting monuments, you will visit the peace museum. Seeing and knowing what happened in Hiroshima gives us a good chance to think about peace and our good future.

If you start from cruise ship port, we need to take a taxi from/to your port. The taxi fare varies depending on the location of your pier and number of passengers. The taxi fare between Ujina pier and the peace park is approximately 6000 JPY, round trip.

I am not a driver guide, but I can arrange a private car with a driver upon request.
Travel insurance is not included in this tour price. Please be insured for the duration of this tour.
